Nuit Blanche KYOTO
Bridge to the White Nights Festival in Paris - A night spent with contemporary art -

Nuit Blanche is an annual contemporary art festival that began in Paris in 2002.The purpose of this festival is to allow the general public to enjoy contemporary art works, free of charge, in a variety of locations, rather than limiting them to museums and specialized galleries.
This year, "Nuit Blanche KYOTO" will be held for the 13th time. This event, held in the ancient capital of Kyoto, is also the event that most clearly represents the bond between Kyoto and Paris, sister cities that signed a friendship pact in 1958.Nuit Blanche KYOTO will be held at various locations throughout the city, from stations, gardens, and unexpected venues to classic yet wonderful venues such as museums. It is also an attempt to bring together the traditional industries unique to this cultural city and the activities of contemporary artists from two perspectives: France and Japan.
Following "Five Senses" in 2018, "Dialogue" in 2019, "Flow" in 2020, "HORIZON" in 2021, and "Aires de jeux" in 2022. This year's theme will be "Power".
We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who cooperated in making this Nuit Blanche KYOTO a reality.
