Exhibition: Objets de rencontres / Confluence objects

Through new experiences and encounters, the French-Japanese intercultural dialogue reinvents itself constantly; Villa Kujoyama and Seikado aim together to bring forward new modes of creation. Mylinh Nguyen created the « petits dieux de misère » (little gods of misery) series in France after a 4 months immersion in Japan, while Karl Mazlo started, as he arrived in Kyoto, the production of a series of objects through a collaboration with an artisan from Seikado. Two different ways to approach intercultural exchange both open a new door into contemporary creation.

Exhibition Period: 9/30-10/23 (9:30-17:30) *Closed every Wednesday
