Exhibition: Kyo-Machiya mon amour Series: Reformed Machiya Open House & Concert + Reading performance

Fumiko KANEKO, archi-designer artist, presents a musical reading performance in the frame of her own house. In the Kyo-machiya is Moefu-an created based on the sights of the Kamogawa River in spring as they burst into bud. The belvedere, also called The Suspended Imaginary Forest, is open to the four cardinal directions, surrounded by the trellises or Moving Walls containing the light of Daimonji Okuribi is the Sky- Chashitsu. (Contemporary Suspended Imaginary Forest- Assistant contractor: Yamamoto Carpentry, Yuji Yamamoto). Public opening of the two-mat tearoom containing black tatami mats made by spirited a tatami craftsperson Mitsuru Yokoyama. Fumiko KANEKO will be reading poems accompanied by Yori KAWASHIMA, a pianist working in Paris, and the students of Gerard Poulet, famous French violinist.
