Reylia Slaby x KYOTO VR

First we ask that the audience whet their senses, taking in with their five senses Yuuhisai Koudoukan’s beautiful garden. This location features Reylia Slaby, a graphite pencil artist turned photographer. You will be able to try a virtual reality (VR) installation within a tearoom. After putting on the VR headset you will enter the virtual world, and at first glance little has changed as the exhibition room will have been precisely recreated as a virtual space. Upon turning to view the garden, you will see that the garden view has been completely transformed, with two starkly different locations visible from each of the doors leading to the garden. You will be encouraged to explore these stunning dreamscapes. This exploration will culminate with Reylia Slaby’s fully realized composition which integrates all three locations into a single cohesive vision.
