Exhibitions: Materiality-Immateriality Design and Innovation

Sound performance by Softpad & Gallery tour by François AZAMBOURG
In tribute to the 30th anniversary of the exhibition led by Jean-François Lyotard, «Les Immatériaux» (Centre Pompidou, 1985), this exhibition is dedicated to design and innovation, to materiality and immateriality.
The exploration, initiated 30 years ago, will be pursued in following 4 areas:
- New media / questioning the place of spectator in relation to devices.
Sensoriality / a sensor experience dedicated to 5 senses
- 3D Modeling / exploration of multiple variables and of flexibility in production processes
- Database / as source of renewal: with dialogue between preservation and state-- of-the-art research for material innovating
This confrontation between the “material” and “immaterial” world will result in a focus on forms of what creating and innovating mean.
